Professor Seamus Ross

Seamus Ross is Dean of the Faculty of Information (commonly known as the iSchool) at the University of Toronto. He is interested in approaches to ensuring the long term accessibility of the materials created or represented in digital form.

Seamus Ross is Dean of the Faculty of Information (commonly known as the iSchool) at the University of Toronto since January 2009. Before that he was Professor of Humanities Informatics and Digital Curation and Director of the Humanities Advanced Technology and Information Institute (HATII) at the University of Glasgow, and Associate Director of the UK's Digital Curation Centre.

During his visit Professor Ross, who also is a Visiting Scholar at Wolfson College, will be writing a monograph on approaches to ensuring the long term accessibility of the materials created or represented in digital form.
