About

As part of the Oxford Policy Engagement Network Showcase 2022, Oxford Internet Institute (OII) Visiting Policy Fellows and Faculty will share their experiences of informing public policy in data and technology in an EU, UK and global context. They will talk about likely future developments in this area and talk about how researchers and doctoral students can get involved.

Lunch will be provided before this event.

The OII’s director, Victoria Nash, will be joined by OII Visiting Policy Fellows:

  • Lisa Felton, Head of External Affairs Strategy and Global Programmes, Vodafone;
  • Jas Johl, Author, Speaker and Researcher and a Director for The Roosevelt Institute;
  • Sir Julian King, Former European Commissioner for Security Union and UK senior diplomat; and
  • Luis Viegas Cardoso, Digital Strategy Adviser, European Commission Presidency.

Due to capacity constraints, this event is only open to doctoral students, researchers and members of professional services staff at the University of Oxford.
