Spam email: a qualitative study


Quantitative data from the 2003 Oxford Internet Survey (OxIS) was supported by a qualitative study of how individuals view and manage unwanted email, particularly spam. This study was then expanded to incorporate a broader focus on how individuals manage email more generally. Twenty people were interviewed through qualitative, semi-structured interviews.
