Vahid holds a PhD degree in Telematics from UC3M, a MSc in Business Analytics from Sabanci Business School, and a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.

His main area of research involves NLP and its application on social networks data. His current research is on the application of NLP algorithms, more specifically sentence transformers and LLMs, to social networks data for tracking narratives around immigrants in the UK.
