Rehmat holds a BA in History with Economics from the University of Delhi. She has previously worked in a government advisory capacity, specialising in investment facilitation and public sector development. In the past she has used data science and statistical techniques to assess the effectiveness of national programmes, analyse fiscal trends, and examine the political signals embedded in public expenditure.
Rehmat’s interests lie in bringing an interdisciplinary approach to applying quantitative methods in decision-making contexts, particularly in exploring the ethical implications of AI and data use within economic systems and institutional frameworks.
