Nishat is a Research Assistant in Digital Well-Being at the Oxford Internet Institute, where she researches how reducing gaming affects physical activity, sleep quality, and overall well-being in young adults.
She also works part-time as a Research Assistant at Dementias Platform UK, contributing to two projects: one investigating correlations between cognitive changes and blood biomarkers in dementia patients; and another gathering data on genetics, sleep and activity levels — all known dementia risk factors.
Previously, Nishat worked as an Assistant Psychologist at Oxfordshire NHS Talking Therapies, using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to support patients with anxiety and depression.
