About

Mohsen Mosleh is an Associate Professor in Social Data Science at Oxford Internet Institute and a Governing Body Fellow at Wolfson College. He is also a research affiliate at MIT Sloan School of Management.

Mohsen’s work lies at the intersection of computational science (data science) and cognitive psychology. He studies how misinformation and disinformation spread on social media and how ties are formed on social networks. In his work he develops large scale digital field experiments and multi-platform approaches.

His work has been published in leading journals such as NatureNature Communications, and PNAS and has been covered in major media outlets including The Washington Post, the Telegraph and the Financial Times. He has received Meta Foundational Integrity & Social Impact Research Award, Google Scholar Research Program Award, British Academy Award, and the British Science Associate Award.
