About

Mia is a Shirley Scholar at the Oxford Internet Institute. She is passionate about global media freedom and interested in the intersection of digital platforms with the future of news media and democratic institutions.  She holds a BA in International Relations and an MA in Public Diplomacy from the University of Southern California, where she studied digital NGO advocacy within the press freedom community.
