About

Mary Rundle is an Identity Policy Strategist at Microsoft and also wears an OII Research Associate hat.

She has enjoyed researching how new tools for digital identity management can strengthen user control and contribute to a person’s autonomy as the world becomes ever more integrated in the Information Society. In addition, she hopes to bring people together in an interdisciplinary discussion on a Policy and Legal Framework for Identity Management. The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation sponsors OII activities in these areas.

Positions at the OII

  • Research Associate, May 2008 - September 2011
  • Visiting Fellow, September 2006 - April 2008
