About

Jon leads the IT Team to enable the Department’s mission across research, education and outreach. He also works closely with the Head of Administration and Finance in managing, planning and developing major aspects of the department’s IT services in support of departmental objectives.

Jon is responsible for the overall management of the IT Department with specific responsibility for the administration of the various server systems, including general infrastructure servers as well as virtual machines commissioned for researchers and students to carry out their projects.
