About

Jason Kim is a leading expert in trust and safety, artificial intelligence (AI), and public sector innovation. He currently serves as the Global Director of Analytics for Google, where he oversees a team responsible building trusted experiences across Google’s broad Consumer product portfolio. A core aspect of his role involves the ethical development of Google’s Generative AI initiatives, where he leads the operational analytics team to ensure fairness and safety throughout the development process.

Prior to his current role at Google, Jason led all analytics for Global Operations at Meta. There, he played a pivotal role in establishing the centralized analytics team supporting work across Trust and Safety, Ads, Customer Experience, Metaverse, Risk and Payments, Scaled Operations, and ML Ops.

Jason brings over 15 years of experience to his current role, honed within the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense (DoD). During this time, he served as a senior leader, driving crucial technology initiatives, leading congressional engagements, and providing expert advice as part of the President’s Daily Brief Staff. This experience instilled in him a deep understanding of security threats and the importance of data-driven solutions.

Jason holds a B.A. from the University of Illinois at Chicago, an M.A. in Public Management from Johns Hopkins University, an M.S. in Cyber Intelligence and Data Analytics from the National Intelligence University, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Additionally, Jason currently serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserve, where he leads the development of AI solutions for national security.
