
Elly is an MSc student in Social Science of the Internet and a long-time technologist with a background in open source software development. Her research examines the digitisation of migration control infrastructure and how it affects the social and political dynamics of migration. She holds a BA in Sociology, Anthropology, and International Migration Studies from UCLA.
