About

Working closely with the Director and the Senior Executive Team, Elizabeth and her Co-HAF lead the Institute’s Professional Services in implementing strategy, supporting teaching, research and policy engagement, and ensuring good governance and high-quality services. She has primary responsibility for Governance & Resources, Communications & External Affairs, and Research.

Before joining OII, Elizabeth was the Head of Administration & Finance at Oxford School of Global and Area Studies. Prior to being a HAF, she worked for many years in research facilitation as a Research Manager & Deputy HAF in DPIR, as a Research Impact Facilitator for the Social Sciences Division, and in the research support team at the Law Faculty. Prior to her time at the University, Elizabeth worked for five years as a speech-writer and researcher in the House of Lords and as a project manager for the Crossbench Peer Lord Mawson’s social enterprise company Andrew Mawson Partnerships, which facilitates collaboration between government, corporations, and the public sector.
