About

Djavan is a part-time DPhil student conducting research at the intersection of agriculture and climatic change. He is currently a consultant at McKinsey & Company. Djavan has experience in engineering, data science, venture capital, consulting, teaching, and entrepreneurship, in China, Europe, and the United States.

Djavan holds a PhD and an MSc from Tsinghua University in Environmental Science & Engineering, an MEng from UC Berkeley in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research, and a BA from Sciences Po Paris. He has published in journals such as Applied Energy, Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews, and Bioresource Technology.
