Dr. Danilo Dantas is a Full Professor of Marketing at HEC Montréal, where he serves as the pedagogical director of the graduate diploma in Management of Cultural Organisations. He is Vice-President of the Board of CIRCUIT – Musiques Contemporaines and a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Arts Management. He also serves as Co-Chair of AIMAC – the International Association of Arts and Cultural Management.
His research focuses on arts and music marketing, and has been published in leading journals such as the Journal of Interactive Marketing, the International Journal of Arts Management, and the Journal of Public Policy & Marketing, among others.
Professor Dantas collaborates with Professors Kathryn Eccles and Robert Prey of the Oxford Internet Institute on projects examining the relationship between live performance and online streaming, as well as strategies for optimal music release timing. These projects are generously supported by Mr Jean Chagnon, an alumnus of both HEC Montréal and the University of Oxford.
