Crypto-anarchists and cypherpunks have long dreamt of solving this ancient problem by replacing untrustworthy human authorities with incorruptible machines. In this talk, Vili Lehdonvirta examined the stories of Bitcoin and The DAO to highlight fundamental flaws in this vision.
