New Visiting Policy Fellow joins Oxford Internet Institute from Vodafone

The Oxford Internet Institute (OII) has appointed Lisa Felton, Head of Data, Services and Consumer Regulation at Vodafone Group as a Visiting Policy Fellow.

Lisa is Head of Data, Services and Consumer Regulation at Vodafone Group, with expertise in consumer, digital and telecoms regulation. She leads strategic policy campaigns and provides regulatory and policy advice across Vodafone’s global footprint.

She has over 20 years’ experience as a lawyer and in policy both within Vodafone and in private practice. She represents Vodafone as the Chair of the GSMA Mobile Commerce Operator Expert Group. She holds an MA from Oxford University in Law and a Masters in International Law of Human Rights. While at OII, Lisa will work primarily with Professor Victoria Nash, Deputy Director, Associate Professor and Senior Fellow to look at policy and regulation around the deployment of Artificial Intelligence.

Lisa joins the OII’s current visiting policy fellows Jim Bligh, Director of Corporate Affairs, UK & Ireland at Tata Consultancy Services and Conrad Young, Chief Digital Officer at Deloitte.
