Mar is a part-time doctoral student at the Oxford Internet Institute interested in the intersection between data science and labor economics. Next to her DPhil, she works at LinkedIn’s Economic Graph leveraging LinkedIn data to help create economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce.
Prior to joining LinkedIn, she was a researcher at the Inter-American Development Bank and at Harvard’s Center for International Development. She also worked in government in Argentina, focusing on public debt and infrastructure financing, and representing Argentina at the G20 and Mercosur.
Mar holds an MPA/ID from the Harvard Kennedy School, and a MSc and BSc in Economics from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking and camping in the beautiful California.
