Yixin is a DPhil student in Social Data Science. Her research focuses on examining online communication on social media sites, and designing social systems to better support it. For example, she explored self-disclosure and the spread of social support in online communities, and built statistical models to analyze social phenomena.
She holds a BA (Information Management and Information Systems) from Peking University and an MSc (Social Data Science) from the Oxford Internet Institute.
