About

Mark headed up external relations and communications activity at the OII. This included public relations, events, alumni relations, stakeholder and policy engagement, partnerships, executive education and oversight of the OII’s web presence. Mark worked with the University’s Development Office on fundraising for the OII.

Mark joined the OII from Birmingham City University where he was Head of Communications and Public Affairs. Prior to this Mark worked in policy and communications roles at National Grid, the Department of Energy and Climate Change and the Department for Business. He began his career in the Cabinet Secretary’s office.
