Jake is a PhD candidate in philosophy with the Australian National University. His work develops theories of fairness and legitimacy for algorithmic systems to guide the ethical deployment of automated decision-making in industry. Jake holds an MSc in Data Science, a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, and an LLB (Hons).
