Hunter is a Shirley Scholar studying emerging technologies like generative AI and how to address their effects on politics and society. He holds a BA in Communication and Political Science from the University of Southern California.

Research Interests

Internet and platform governance, mis/disinformation, content moderation, free speech, the ethics of information, AI, science and technology studies, the future of work, digital privacy, and internet law.
