Ayca Deniz Ergin is a researcher and product marketing professional working at the intersection of AI ethics, digital labor, and responsible innovation. Originally from Turkey, Ayca studied International Studies and Marketing & Operations at the University of Pennsylvania as part of the Huntsman Program. She is an incoming MSc student at the Oxford Internet Institute, where she will focus on the societal implications of AI and internet technologies, including digital responsibility, AI literacy, and equitable innovation.

She is particularly passionate about advancing inclusive AI systems, supporting digital empowerment in underserved regions, and helping organizations translate ethical frameworks into practice.

  • LLM Bias and Global Diversity: Analyzing biases in LLMs and assessing their long-term risks to equitable global representation and proposing solutions to sustain cultural heritage.
  • Driving Digital Literacy for Responsible AI Usage: Investigating the relationship between digital literacy and AI Safety and designing educational frameworks to enhance user discernment and promote ethical AI practices.
  • Impact of AI Agents on Frontline Workforces: Examining the short and long-term impact of AI agents on the frontline workforce, identifying risks, and developing strategies to mitigate outcomes while enhancing workforce resilience.
