As a journalist for nearly a decade, Asmita has written deeply reported stories on current affairs, conflict and technology policy. The anthropology and politics of digital access, disruption and assertion has been a dominant theme in her reportage, directly and indirectly. The research for these stories, supported by her legal qualifications, has enabled her to follow, up-close, the ways in which technology, policy and human rights intersect in the Indian subcontinent.
