About

Ole Teutloff is postdoctoral visiting research fellow at the Oxford Internet Institute and affiliated guest researcher at the Copenhagen Center for Social Data Science. In his research, he uses computational social science methods to study how technological innovations change labor markets and affect socio-economic inequality. His research project at the OII explores the economics of artificial intelligence (AI), with particular attention to the ways AI is reshaping skill requirements of jobs, the value of human expertise and labour market inequalities.
Besides his academic research, Ole is co-founder of the DWG Data Science Company. He previously worked in a variety of international and interdisciplinary contexts including the Centre for the Governance of AI, the OECD and the KfW Developing Bank. He has also served as a consultant for the World Bank and the International Labour Organization (ILO). Ole holds a PhD in Social Data Science from the University of Copenhagen, an MSc in Social Data Science from the University of Oxford, and a Master of Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance Berlin.
