Federica Casarosa is a doctoral student at the European University Institute in Florence. At the OII she undertook research on the regulation of online auctions, taking into account the role of self-regulation and public governance.
Federica Casarosa graduated in Private Comparative Law at the University of Pisa. She is finishing her PhD Thesis at the Department of Law of the European University Institute in Florence. She works on the role of information in online contracting, in particular analysing protection provided to consumers. She is currently participating on a project coordinated by the University of Trento and the University of Florence on the cooperation in industrial networks of firms, and she is part of the editorial board of the newly created European Journal of Legal Studies. At the OII, she will undertake research on the regulation of online auctions, taking into account the role of self-regulation and public governance.
