Fangwei holds a BA in Communication and Media from the University of Michigan, with minors in Statistics and Music. Before joining the OII, she worked at the Department of Global Communications of the United Nations.

Research Interests

Fangwei is interested in mobile media, children’s digital safety, and privacy policy.
