Erin Simpson researches threats and possibilities for civic life online. Erin served as the Founding Director of Programs for nonprofit Civic Hall Labs. She is a Marshall Scholar, Truman Scholar, and holds a Public Policy BA from the University of Chicago.

During her time as a Marshall Scholar at the OII, she researched threats and opportunities for civic life online. Erin led civil society engagement for the Computational Propaganda team.
