Digital technologies are revolutionising our ability to integrate objects and images into university teaching. The Cabinet Project – a collaborative effort between academics, museums, and digital experts – has created an online platform that truly integrates text and object in the teaching process, providing full access to both written and visual materials for study and revision. This video provides a brief tour of Cabinet materials assembled by Professor Howard Hotson for the teaching of ‘Special Subject 13: The Scientific Movement in the Seventeenth Century’ within the Faculty of History at the University of Oxford.
