The Oxford Internet Surveys (OxIS) regularly runs a survey of Britain, asking how people experience the internet. This report sets out findings from the 2005 edition of the survey.

It finds that internet penetration is growing slowly, but that three-fifths of Britons now use the internet. It sets out how and where people use the internet and notes especially the growth in use of mobile technologies, as well as an increase in the use of digital technologies at home. The report also notes that increased use of the internet is associated with greater comfort with the internet, although the survey found relatively little attempt to use computers or the internet creatively.
