Recent piece in New Statesmen

I tend not to blog much anymore, but I do enjoy the occasional op ed. With the revelations about Cambridge Analytica’s relationship to Facebook, many people were concerned about privacy. On the other hand, I was worried about what we have lost as Facebook has steered us into a specific way of thinking about our relationships. As we have been steered we have lost some of what we thought Facebook would be as a social utility. Read more at New Statesmen.
