About
In this talk I will first provide an overview of a multi-disciplinary research project, underway at the MIT Sloan School of Management, where we are studying information technologies (particularly Internet technologies) from social and economic perspectives. I will then share some data from a specific field study in which we are exploring the ongoing uses of information technologies within the local work practices of a few organizations.
