This is the second of two OxDEG (Oxford Digital Ethnography Group) panels of three researchers reflecting on ethical challenges encountered in the context of their digital research projects. The panel will be of broad interest to anyone interested in the role of ethics in qualitative research on technology, media, and the digital and to other researchers using qualitative and/or digital ethnographic methods in their own work.
