Oxford Digital Ethnography Group Seminar Series
About
OxDEG (Oxford Digital Ethnography Group) will hold two panels of three researchers using digital ethnographic methods in their projects. In these sessions, panellists will reflect on ethical challenges in the context of digital ethnography and how they overcame any hurdles by sharing their approaches. The panels will be of broad interest to anyone interested in the role of ethics in qualitative research on technology, media, and the digital and to other researchers using digital ethnographic methods in their own work.
Our first panellists are: Summer Qasim (Dept of Anthropology, University of Oxford), Theodora Sutton (Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford), and Yi Yang (Dept of Political Science, University of Oxford).
