This one-day symposium aims to foster a conversation on the relevance and importance of pluralist perspectives on digital ethics. It will bring together a diverse range of speakers from academia, civil society, public and private sectors, to explore critical questions within the theme of intercultural digital ethics. Topics that will be discussed include digital labour, ‘ethics dumping’ and data practices in low-rights environments, intercultural ethical perspectives on balancing security, privacy, and identity, and a keynote on decolonizing AI.
