Stephen Coleman will consider ways in which the UK Parliament has used the Internet to involve the public in its work. He will consider the extent to which information and communication technology can contribute to reconnections between representatives and the represented, and will suggest that these new methods of public involvement are indicative of a more significant reconception of the nature of democratic representation.
