About

Tom recently earned his MSc in the Social Science of the Internet at the OII, where he was awarded a Distinction for his studies. His thesis, which aimed to bridge the gap between the practical development of AI technologies and the principles of AI ethics, was also highly commended by the Exam Board. With a BA in Philosophy from University College London and an MA in Creative Writing from Birkbeck University, Tom’s research interests centre around responsibility and decision-making with respect to AI. Currently, he supports technology companies as a strategic consultant.
