About

Christiane works with Prof Bernie Hogan and the Researching Identity Networks Group on exploring the methodological and usability challenges in shifting from interviews to self-reported social network analysis data as part of the on-going technical advancements of the software Network Canvas.

At the Nuffield Department of Medicine, Christiane’s DPhil examines the use of data for quality of care improvements, conducting a mixed-methods study on the design and implementation of neonatal hospital dashboards in Kenya. With a user-centred design approach, she aims to align (digital) health technologies with the diverse needs of all health systems actors, promoting practical and sustainable solutions.

Christiane is also very passionate about health innovations and technological solutions to improve women’s health and serves as the President of the Oxford FemTech Society.

Network Canvas is primarily funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), with additional support from the ESRC-funded ANSWER project.
