About

Kenzo Fujisue was born in 1964 and is a visiting professor at the University of Tokyo and was a  Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan, a member of the  House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature). He graduated from Tokyo  Institute of Technology and received master’s degrees from Massachusetts Institute of  Technology and Harvard University in the United States. He was elected to the House  of Councillors for the first time in 2004 when he left associate Professor at the  University of Tokyo. 18 years of experience in policy making at the House of Councillors (Senate) and 13 years at the Ministry of International Trade and Industry in Japan. Engaged especially in Innovation, Science & Technology, ICT, Energy & Environment Policies.

From 1986 to 1999, he was working for the Ministry of Economic, Trade and Industry.
