Kavita is a feminist researcher of digital technologies. Broadly, Kavita’s work seeks to uncover the ways in which new digital technologies are enabling particular forms of urban marginality, and the potentials for overcoming these. She has conducted research on biometric technologies, gig-economy work platforms and digital dating apps.
