Ileena Irving is a Paul Robeson Scholar from Rutgers University studying the intersection of AI and the online dating industry at the OII. She is interested in how the dating industry digitizes desirability, and how this affects young women of color online and in their daily lives. She has had hands-on experience working for a large online dating company and hopes to ethically evolve the industry.
