About

Chris is a PhD candidate in Psychological and Behavioural Sciences at the London School of Economics and Political Science. His doctoral research investigates the potential of AI powered persuasion for violent conflict prevention and post-conflict reconciliation.

At the OII, Chris is a Research Assistant working on Professor Helen Margetts’ project entitled ‘Conversations Between Governments and Citizens in a Digital Society’.

Chris holds a MPhil (International Relations) from the University of Oxford, and a BSc (International Relations) from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Research Interests

Persuasion & Resistance to Persuasion, Human-AI/LLM Interactions, Behavioural Interventions for Conflict/Prejudice Reduction, Countermeasures against Fake News & Malicious Foreign Influence Operations.
