Professor Susan Crawford

Susan Crawford, Associate Professor of Law at Cardozo Law School, New York, teaching cyberlaw. She received her BA (summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) and JD from Yale University. She served as a clerk for Judge Raymond J. Dearie of the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and was a partner at Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering (Washington, DC, now WilmerHale) until the end of 2002, when she left that firm to enter the legal academy. Professor Crawford writes about communications policy, digital copyright issues and Internet governance, and is a member of the ICANN board of directors. She is planning OneWebDay, a holiday for the internet scheduled for September 22, 2006.
