The second in our series of joint webinars on AI & work looks at the concentration of the hidden labour of AI in the Global South From cloudwork to mining, we’ll discuss the labour that enables modern AI development, what the implications of its hidden nature might be in exacerbating existing inequalities and what can be done to build AI globally in a fairer way.
Themes being discussed include ‘Platformization of Complex Digital Work – Pictures of the future coming from Crowd Work’ and ‘Human-centered Algorithmic Management’, alongside other presentations.
