About

Pablo Aragón is a PhD candidate at the Artificial Intelligence group in Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

Since 2011 he works as a researcher at the Digital Humanities Unit in Eurecat – Technology Centre of Catalonia, where his main activity deals with retrieving, analysing and visualising Big Data from the Social Web. His research focuses on the study of the effects of digital platforms in citizen participatory processes as well as communication dynamics and information diffusion in the context of emerging grassroot movements.
