About

Maja is interested in the potential of entrepreneurship and technology to contribute to economic, environmental and social sustainability. She has spent over 12 years connecting these fields, including as product manager in a web-based technology startup, lead Internet policy researcher at IISD.org, counselor for Canada for the World Bank Group and mobile innovation specialist at infoDev.org. Her thesis is about technology innovation ecosystems in emerging markets. She is grateful for the generous support of her studies by the Oxford University Press Clarendon Fund.
