Alyona is an MSc in Social Data Science student at the Oxford Internet Institute on a Hill Foundation Scholarship. She holds an MSc in Applied Mathematics and Informatics from the Higher School of Economics, where she specialised in data analysis in biology and medicine, and a BA in Asian and African Studies with a minor in Data Science.
Her professional experience includes working as a Quantitative Analyst, developing high-frequency trading models and econometric forecasts. She also interned in a bioinformatics lab, conducting research on genomic and biomedical data. Alyona is particularly interested in applying machine learning to biomedicine and finance.
