Laura is a Rhodes Scholar from Germany whose research focuses on patient safety, precision medicine, and the use of clinical machine learning to support medical decision-making. Her work examines how predictive models and data-driven tools can improve diagnosis, risk stratification, and treatment planning, particularly in settings where patient data are fragmented across systems.
As a serial founder, Laura brings an applied perspective to these questions. Her most recent venture, Mii, is a healthcare technology start-up developing a patient data passport that securely stores, shares, and analyses medical information across providers, enabling more informed and personalised care. Laura graduated with high honours in Economics and Computer Science from Harvard University, where her academic work focused on healthcare economics and applied machine learning.
