Stéphanie holds a BSc and an MSc in Business Engineering and Data Analytics from Ghent University where she researched explainable computer vision tools and generative data augmentation. Her professional and volunteer experience includes strategy consulting for both private companies and NGOs, as well as roles in data science and education policy.

She is passionate about technology’s potential for social good, with a focus on youth well-being, education, and social justice. Her current research interest lies primarily in the impact of social media on adolescent mental health. She values a data-driven approach and is also interested in the ethical implications of algorithms and digital technologies.
