Visiting Fellows and Associates
Our visitor programme welcomes established scholars, industry leaders, practitioners, Civil Society advocates and policy makers of distinction or outstanding promise, who wish to pursue study and research concerning the social impact of the Internet and related ICTs.
- Visiting Fellowships may be awarded to suitably qualified academics to undertake study or research at the OII for a period of between three and twelve months.
- Academic Visitor Status may be awarded to suitably qualified academics to undertake study or research at the OII for a period of between one week and three months.
- Visiting Associateships may be awarded to suitably qualified policy makers and industry practitioners or equivalent to undertake study or research at the OII for a period of between three and twelve months.
All applications should be discussed with us in the first instance, and all external applications will need approval from both the OII and the University’s Research Services Office.
